2020 could prove to be a defining year for English Wines sales, with growth at national UK retailer Majestic up over 150% against the previous year. A noticeable feature within the sales is the number of new customers who have tried an English wine this year, over 70,000 of them alone at Majestic, fuelling the growth.
With the trend continuing into the Christmas season, this December Balfour are launching three more limited edition wines within their second ‘Winemaker Collection’ series. The aim is to showcase not only the range of terroir at the 400acre Hush Heath estate in Kent, but also the breadth of styles now being created by the UK’s talented winemakers.
