Ordered to pay £200 compensation and £85 court costs. SLAWOMIR MIKOLAJCZYK, 42, of Burgess Road, Southampton. Proved guilty in absence of failing to provide a specimen. Warrant for arrest issued. ARKADIJS PETROVS, 41, of Oxford Avenue, Southampton. Proved guilty in absence of failing to comply with the requirements of a community order. HARRY JUNIOR PAUL EDWARDS, 35, of Collier Close, Southampton. Convicted of two counts of racially aggravated harassment and two counts of possession of a Class B drug. Committed to prison for 12 weeks, suspended for 24 months. Ordered to pay £820 compensation, £122 victim surcharge and £620 court costs.
CANTON – Long-awaited work is underway at the former Lehman school.
The one-time junior high and high school at 1120 15th St. NW is expected to become senior housing by spring of 2022.
Lehman alumni sang the high school s alma mater before Tuesday s ceremonial groundbreaking, hosted by development partners of the future Oxford Place. The alumni association is 100% behind it, Milt Hondrakis, president of the association, said before wielding a shovel.
The former school building, which has been vacant since 2006, will be repurposed into 62 senior apartments. They will consist of efficiency, one-bedroom and two-bedroom units.
The city of Canton, a.m. Rodriguez Associates Inc., and East Akron Neighborhood Development Corporation are leading the project. It s bordered on the east by Oxford Avenue NW.

Vehicle crashes into tree, injuring five juveniles in Redwood County
A one-vehicle accident Monday in Redwood County sent five juveniles to the hospital with minor injuries. The driver was speeding when the vehicle left the road and crashed into a tree, according to the Redwood County Sheriff s Office. 7:59 am, Apr. 6, 2021 ×
MORTON Five juveniles were injured in a one-vehicle accident Monday afternoon near Morton.
The accident was reported at 4:53 p.m. Monday on Redwood County Road 2, near Oxford Avenue, within the Lower Sioux Indian Community.
According to an accident report from the Redwood County Sheriff’s Office, a 2007 Chrysler 300, driven by Everette Myron Gene Kamolz, 16, was traveling over the posted speed limit, lost control, swerved into the ditch and crashed into a tree. The report did not indicate the hometown of the driver.
