Joburg Water is still experiencing some challenges with water supply as technicians scramble to address technical issues at the Hursthill reservoir.

Joburg Water spokesperson Eleanor Mavimbela told JacarandaFM News on Tuesday morning that technical teams were urgently trying to resolve the matter.
“The only challenge we have is with our Hursthill reservoir. Our technicians are sitting with Rand Water and they are still trying to figure out what the problem could be there. But we are also still supplying roaming water tankers to the areas that have been affected by Hursthill to assist them with an alternative water source.”

JOHANNESBURG – Joburg Water said it was experiencing challenges at its Hursthill, Crosby and Brixton reservoirs due to a low inflow of water -affecting large parts of the City.
Parts of Johannesburg – including Auckland Park, Northcliff and Westbury – have had little to no water for over two days now.

Three college students between the ages of 19 and 21 have been arrested for house robbery in Johannesburg.
Gauteng police spokesperson Capt Xoli Mbele said the robbery allegedly occurred at the Heritage View apartment complex in Newtown on Sunday evening.
“The victim, a 20-year-old college student, was in his flat when the suspects came in.
“They threatened him, demanding money for the window he earlier broke and had already paid R850 for in damages.
