DELAWARE COUNTY, Okla – A Delaware County man is sentenced to prison after pleading guilty to hit and run charges.
In 2017, James Winningham was arrested after hitting two people with his car in a Colorado bar parking lot.
44-year-old Bobby Shaffer Jr. died in the parking lot.
Winningham was sentenced to 20 years in prison on a Manslaughter charge with 10 of those years suspended.
Winningham got 10 years on Assault and Battery charges and Leaving the Scene of an Accident, which resulted in 2 years.
Those sentences will run simultaneously.

NEVADA, Mo – A building collapsed near Nevada Square Tuesday evening.
The Nevada Fire Department received a call a little after 5:00 P.M. about the collapse of a building on the intersection of Cherry and Cedar.
No one was inside the building at the time and there appears to have been no injuries.
Crews worked throughout the night to bring the building down to a safe height to alleviate any potential dangers to nearby buildings.
Parking in the area may be limited as the city continues to clean up the area.
