Mild weather causing bare trails, rocks showing through and no real snow in the forecast, as well as last week’s wind storm that caused lake stakes to fall over with no snow coverage, has forced the club’s hand. Shawn Flindall, spokesman of the North Bay Snowmobile Club, is asking snowmobilers to respect the closures as a lot of trails run through private property. “It’s over a little earlier than normal, but it was fantastic while it lasted,” he told The Nugget Sunday.
