Who else will be there: Testifying alongside Miller on Wednesday will be former acting Attorney General Jeffrey Rosen and D.C. Police Chief Robert Contee.
In his testimony, Rosen will similarly defend preparations ahead of the attack, according to a copy of remarks obtained by The Hill.
Rosen’s defense: “I believe that DOJ [Department of Justice] reasonably prepared for contingencies ahead of January 6, understanding that there was considerable uncertainty as to how many people would arrive, who those people would be, and precisely what purposes they would pursue. Unlike the police, DOJ had no frontline role with respect to crowd control,” Rosen wrote. “But DOJ took appropriate precautions to have tactical support available if contingencies led to them being called upon.”

WASHINGTON: Space Force chief Gen. Jay Raymond today revealed a previously classified program to develop radar satellites capable of tracking moving ground targets a harbinger of the service’s nascent plan to take on the job of procuring space-based ISR for the other services.
Raymond told the annual McAleese conference that Space Force is “building GMTI [Ground Moving Target Indicator] from space” as part of its ISR push, saying that program is representative of the fact that the service is “actively working to be able to provide that capability.”
Public disclosure of the program’s existence “is a recent example of the concerted effort to declassify information regarding space capabilities in support of greater transparency in the space domain,” Col. Catie Hague, Space Force spokesperson, told us in an email.

The 45th Space Wing, which oversees Eastern Range launches from Florida, has a new name: Space Launch Delta 45.
The 45th Space Wing, which includes Patrick and the Space Force Station, oversees the Eastern range and was re-assigned to the U.S. Space Force. The Eastern Range covers more than 10,000 miles from Florida through the South Atlantic and into the Indian Ocean and includes Cape Canaveral Space Force Station and a network of instrumentation stations.
The two say they’re worried that the Trump administration “did not take into account how such a move may affect Intelligence Community dependencies and missions,” which work in tandem with Pentagon efforts to protect U.S. satellites and other interests from threats.

The move came as a shock as Colorado Springs was seen as the front-runner to host the new headquarters given Space Command’s predecessor, Air Force Space Command, was headquartered at Peterson Air Force Base.
