Aster DM Healthcare opens Women & Children Care Hospital in Bengaluru

Aster is also looking at further expansion of our Kolhapur Hospital in Maharashtra Aster DM Healthcare, integrated healthcare service networks, has announced the launch of its 49 bedded dedicated ‘Women and Children Care Hospital’ at Whitefield, Bengaluru.
Dr Harish Pillai, Chief Executive Officer, Aster India, said, “The Aster Whitefield project envisages a total investment of ₹200 crore, this phase 1 launch of the Women & Children Hospital has been established at an investment of ₹25 crore. Aster is also looking at further expansion of our Kolhapur Hospital in Maharashtra called Aster Aaadhar, wherein we are adding extra 60 beds to the existing bed capacity of 180 and also includes a new comprehensive Oncology Block. The investment for this expansion is ₹35 crore.”

The Dubai ambulance has launched the world’s longest ambulance vehicle. The vehicle was seen at the service of all those celebrating #MyDubaiNewYear tonight in Dubai.

Recently, the Dubai Health Authority had been recognised at the International Hospital Federation’s Beyond the Call of Duty for COVID-19 Programme for its COVID-19 response action plan along with over 100 hospitals from 28 countries.
Aster Hospitals Bangalore to save the lives of 62 Yemeni patients
All Patients & their family members were tested COVID-19 negative before boarding the flight and after landing in Bangalore
In a one of its kind initiative in the country, 62 critically ill Yemeni patients who had been combating several illnesses for close to 9 months and required urgent transplants, treatment and care have been given a new lease of life through the efforts of Aster Hospitals Bangalore and the Government of India (GOI).
Close to 120 passengers, including the patients and their family members, have been provided emergency evacuation from Yemen to India. Many of these patients were suffering from chronic illnesses and were undergoing treatment at the hospital. However, owing to the pandemic and the ensuing travel curbs, these patients had to postpone their treatment.
