Flood warning for Ashuelot River in waterlogged southwestern New Hampshire expires © WMUR current radar
A tremendous amount of rain fell in a short amount of time over the weekend in southwestern New Hampshire, causing significant flooding, but a gradual shift in the weather pattern is expected this week.
A river flood warning continues for the Ashuelot River in Cheshire County expired Monday night, in the same area that experienced flash flooding on Sunday.Sign up for our Newsletters
Communities in the warning area include Keene, Swanzey, Winchester and Hinsdale, according to the National Weather Service.
The warning means flooding is already occurring or is imminent.
