NSW premier Gladys Berejiklian has reported seven new cases of local transmission of the coronavirus in the past 24 hours, six linked to the northern beaches after 24,000 tests were undertaken on Boxing Day.
Six of the cases are linked to the Avalon cluster and the seventh case relates to a northern beaches fire fighter who visited the Belrose Hotel on December 11.
