Hawksworth Primary School has received a £1,000 donation from Persimmon Homes to develop its forest school A NEW forest school at Hawksworth Primary is to be fully equipped, thanks to a £1,000 donation. The school has received the funding from Persimmon Homes West Yorkshire, as part of its Community Champions scheme. The village school is aiming to develop its outdoor learning and will use the money for essential equipment and new resources. Headteacher, Mr Dale Norris, said: “We are very grateful that our PTA team is working hard to fundraise for our new facility, and we are completely delighted that Persimmon Homes has chosen to support our project.
