Amman, Apr 5 (efe-epa).- Jordan’s former Crown Prince Hamzah bin Hussein, who stands accused of undermining the country’s stability, has vowed to comply with the guidelines of the ruling Hashemite family, the Royal Court announced on Monday.
Prince Hamzah denounced that he was placed under house arrest on Saturday as between 16 and 18 people were arrested including a royal family member and a former advisor to the king, over conspiracy allegations, which the king’s half-brother denied.
The government accused Hamzah and other detainees of engaging in “contact with external parties about the most appropriate time to start acting to destabilize the security of our glorious Jordan.”
