Shadow and Bone starts off slowly but once it gets going it s on fire

Shadow and Bone starts off slowly but once it gets going it’s on fire Share “Shadow and Bone”, is the latest fantasy book adaptation on Netflix and while it’s a slow burn, once it gets going it’s a fun ride. Based on the first book in the Grisha trilogy by Leigh Bardugo, “Shadow and Bone” finds orphan mapmaker Alina Starkov (Jessie Mei Li ) as the protagonist, as she discovers she has an extraordinary ability during a journey through the Shadow Fold. The fantasy genre has been seeing a resurgence with HBO’s “The Nevers” debuting recently and Netflix adapting various intellectual properties such as the “Winx Club” – I’m still annoyed by how bad it is and y’all made it get a second season – and viewers seem to be enjoying them.

The Legend of Korra The Complete Series is out now on Blu-Ray

It took me a while to finally watch Avatar: The Last Airbender. Once I finally did, I loved every minute of it. The cast was stellar, and the story was a blast to watch unfold. After watching this show to the end, it felt right moving on to Legend of Korra. It ended up being a show I liked more than I thought I would. Well now it is available in a Blu-Ray Steelbook Collection. I was able to get a review copy and here is what I thought of it. You can read the plot for Legend of Korra here:

Nickelodeon launches Avatar Studios to for new Avatar: The Last Airbender and The Legend of Korra content – ToyNews

607 Views Nickelodeon has detailed the launch of Avatar Studios, a newly formed division designed to create new animated series and movies based on the Avatar: The Last Airbender and The Legend of Korra. New, original content will bow on platforms including Paramount+, ViacomCBS’s own subscription video-on-demand service, as well as on Nickelodeon’s own linear and digital platforms, and third party platforms and theatres. The first project from Avatar Studios is slated as an animated theatrical film which is set to being production this year. The new studio will be lead by the original creators and executive producers Michael DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko, taking up the roles of co-chief creative officers.

Avatar Studios creating new content based on Last Airbender, Legend of Korra

“Avatar Studios is a way to give Mike and Bryan the resources and runway to open up their imaginations even more and dive deeper into the action and mythology of Avatar as we simultaneously expand upon that world and the world of content available on Paramount+ and Nickelodeon,” ViacomCBS Kids & Family President Brian Robbins said in a statement. Considering the continued popularity of both series, dedicating an entire studio to make more sequels, prequels, and spinoffs would seem to make sense. Avatar: The Last Airbender originally aired for three seasons on Nickelodeon from 2005 to 2008. The series follows the adventures of Aang and his friends, who must save the world by defeating Fire Lord Ozai and ending the destructive war with the Fire Nation. In addition to developing a large and enduring following, the show went on to win a bunch of awards, including the Peabody Award, a Primetime Emmy, Annie Awards, and Genesis Awards.
