Trina Rataiczak cuts Shelby Marshallâs hair Friday at her new shop on Scammel Street in Marietta.
After a ceiling collapse in early January, Trina Rataiczak had to find a new home for her hair salon, Peace Love Scissors.
She had opened the Gilman Avenue site on May 15 after hair salons were shut down in March due to COVID.
“It was just a leak,” Rataiczak said. “We patched it a couple of times, but I think it needed replacing totally. It was an old building.”
They started renting the former Beauty Barn in January 2020 and their lease was almost up when the ceiling collapsed.
