Arrest warrant issued in Beaver man s death in Moon

MOON TWP. Allegheny County police are seeking a man in connection with the death of a Beaver man whose body was found Tuesday in a vacant gas station lot.
Police have issued an arrest warrant for Anoosh Almas, 25, of Beaver, charging him with criminal homicide, abuse of a corpse and other crimes.
He is facing those charges in regards to the murder of his cousin Junaid Akhlas, 28, of Beaver, whose body was found in the trunk of his own car parked at 8000 University Blvd. in Moon Township. No motive has been released in the case.

CASTLE SHANNON (KDKA) – Castle Shannon Police and Allegheny County Police are investigating the robbery of a 7-Eleven/Marathon Station on Mt. Lebanon Boulevard, as well as a 7-Eleven in South Fayette.
According to Castle Shannon Police, a Black male wearing a mask and a dark hoodie walked into the store around 3:15 a.m. with a gun and took money from customers in the store, the cash register and ordered everyone onto the floor.
He then ran from the scene, getting away with about $380.

A man suspected of firing at Braddock police was taken into custody Tuesday evening after police say he shot himself in the head.
The unidentified man was alive but listed in grave condition following a standoff in an abandoned house along the 500 block of Lobinger Avenue.
Allegheny County Police said the incident began with a car crash earlier that afternoon.
