Building starts at huge new industrial site in Bicester this month

The scheme - called Launton Trade Park -, which is located off Launton Road in an already largely industrial area, will total 26,000 sq ft and has been designed to cater for the trade and warehouse sectors. Work starts at Catalyst Bicester despite access criticisms

BUILDING work has started at a £100 million development in Bicester. The 300,000 sq ft site just off the A41, called Catalyst Bicester, will be home to a new sustainable business community made up of stand-alone buildings and a wetland nature reserve. It will also include a David Lloyd Health and Racquets Club and, according to developers Albion Land, will provide workspace for up to 1,750 new jobs. The first four technology buildings will range in size from 10,000 sq ft to 22,000 sq ft and be ready for businesses to occupy them in early 2022. But cycling campaigners are concerned that pedestrians and cyclists will not be able to access the site safely under the new road layout.

Andalusia s foreigners will get the Covid vaccine, but how should they register?

The Local Alex Dunham 12:36 CET Andalusian health and government sources have told The Local Spain that foreigners living in the region will get the Covid-19 even if they’re not on the public health system. What still remains unclear is how they should register. The news follows the previous announcement that foreigners who are not “beneficiaries of the Spanish public health system” in the southern region would not be able to get the vaccine, a big worry for the many foreigners in the region who have private health insurance instead and therefore no access to the inoculation. Andalusia’s Health Council has now backtracked on its previous statements and said it will give foreigners who aren’t paying social security contributions but who live in the region the Covid-19 vaccine as well.
