(Tribune News Service) Marine Corps Logistics Command, Marine Force Storage Command and Marine Corps Logistics Base-Albany supported the Department of Defense s 5G-to-Next-G Early Capabilities Demonstration recently in Arlington. The two-day demonstration was a visible milestone in the initiative displaying the underlying technologies and key applications to be installed at MFSC s 5G-enabled smart warehouse. The Marine Corps expected outcomes from this 5G experiment include increases in the efficiency and fidelity of MARCORLOGCOM logistics and warehouse operations, including improvements to receipt, storage, issuance, inventory control, and auditability of materiel and supplies that will directly support the Fleet Marine Force.
