(WALB) - Albany Technical College is introducing a new way to learn more about computer applications. The course will offer seniors and others opportunities to learn more about technology. The goal is to provide knowledge to those with limited computer experience. The class will meet for four sessions, which started Monday and will run through April 28. “This class is just the beginning stages of introduction into the internet and figuring out how to use it. And then, we’re going to go into other stuff like Facebook, understanding how to do a livestream on Facebook. These are things that pretty much everyone is doing these days,” said Jason Cadogan, multimedia specialist for Albany Tech.

(WALB) - The return to in-person classes could happen for Albany Technical College students this fall. Albany Tech is are working to get students back into the classroom this fall. Albany Tech’s president Anthony Parker said their number one goal is to make sure they provide established limits to classroom capacity if they were to return. “If we determine that there is very little risk from the virus by taking reasonable precautions, we’ll return to a traditional schedule. If we are about where we are now, still in recovery, we will continue with a hybrid schedule where the lectures will be online and the lab will be in person with limited contact and social distancing,” Parker said.
