The Peninsula Doha: Officials from the Traffic Awareness Department at the General Directorate of Traffic visited outlets for renting desert buggies and monitored the activities of dune bashing to educate riders and children about safety rules. Awareness competitions were organised to spread the culture of traffic safety and gifts were distributed to the contestants. This was part of the awareness campaign launched by the General Traffic Department on the occasion of the camping season under the slogan ‘I walk safely’ for the year 2020-21.
