First Round: No surprises here
2. New York Jets- QB Zach Wilson, BYU With Darnold in Carolina the Jets have again hit the reset button. Wilson has the arm talent, but can Saleh and company finally be the right staff to figure out the Jets struggles and turn this franchise around?
3. San Francisco 49ers- QB Justin Fields, Ohio State Rumors are that this is for Mac Jones or Trey Lance, then every once in a while you will hear people mention Fields name. I am going with my gut which is that Lynch and Shanahan will see a potential RGIII reboot with Fields. He s not quite as fast, but Kyle was RGIII OC under his dad Mike when they went to get him. I think that Kyle will see similarities in their style and remember the visions he had for his offense when RGIII was going to be his QB. I know that people say that Kyle preferred Cousins, but I think that was because of RGIII work

It’s a bit of a surprise Ingram is still available. He’s dealt with some injury problems that limited him to only 20 games the last two years, but he’s been incredibly productive when he does play. He has 49 career sacks in 113 games, and hadn’t had fewer than 7.0 since 2014. Ingram didn’t notch a sack in seven games in 2020. A rotational edge rush role in the vein of Dee Ford could suit Ingram though if he’s looking for one more big payday next offseason, and the 49ers could provide that opportunity.
New and Notable
Discounted Players to Still Believe In
NFL.com contributing columnist Adam Schein compiled a list of nine players that are being overlookeddue to injury, age or subpar performance that he believes fans should not doubt heading into the 2021 season. Among players like Atlanta Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan, Minnesota Vikings cornerback Patrick Peterson and Arizona Cardinals wide receiver A.J. Green, new 49ers center Alex Mack was added to Schein s list due to concerns of his age. Entering the 2021 season at the age of 35, here s what Schein had to say about why Mack shouldn t be counted out. I know Mack is getting up there in age. Related: I just don t care. He s still a tremendous center and invaluable leader. Plus, Mack signed with San Francisco to play for Kyle Shanahan, the coach whose offense he starred in with the Falcons in 2015 and 2016, earning Pro Bowl honors each year. I believe there s plenty of gas left in the tank for Mack to play at a very high level.
