This is always the big daddy conference tournament. Perhaps I’ll draw some eyre from Rocky Top for not including Tennessee in the top teams, as their record is just as good as the three I listed. I simply think the others are more talented. You know about Vanderbilt’s top pitchers but also keep an eye on young freshman
Christian Little, who has a chance to go high a few years from now. Kevin Goldstein and I have written about center fielder Enrique Bradfield a few times he’s a must-watch player.

The UCF Knights battled against the Wichita State Shockers as the two teams split the first two games of their four-game weekend series during Friday’s doubleheader at John Euliano Park.
The Knights quickly found themselves trailing Wichita State in game one after Shockers sophomore second baseman Jack Sigrist tallied up two early scores.

Sigrist reached home plate off an RBI from Shockers senior outfielder Corrigan Bartlett at the top of the first inning. Sigrist, in addition, recorded a solo home-run at the top of the third inning, which left the Knights in an early 2-0 deficit.
The UCF Knights delivered a comeback victory against the FAU Owls Tuesday night at John Euliano Park.

Hopes of building on the momentum they had were quickly stalled as the Knights found themselves in a quick hole.
Owls sophomore B.J. Murray homered deep over far left-field with a man on base to bring FAU to an early 2-0 lead after only two at-bats to start things off for the night.
After a scoreless second inning, junior Josh Crouch homered deep over left field with a man on base to score a 2-run home run quickly bringing the Knights back in the game by the end of the third inning, now trailing just 3-2.

Hundreds of unaccompanied migrant children were being held this week in El Paso Border Patrol facilities, as border agents worked to quickly process them and government shelters struggled to reactivate dormant capacity.
Although the number of children in temporary Border Patrol custody can fluctuate by the hour, between 800 and 1,000 children were being held this week many for more than two days at a time according to two federal employees who requested anonymity because they were not authorized to speak to the press.
