A Musical Story rhythm narrative game boogies to Switch this summer
Can you dig it?
Publisher Digerati and developer Glee-Cheese Studio have announced rhythm narrative game
A Musical Story for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC to release in summer 2021. Per Gematsu, the game will offer its first 10 chapters in a free demo on Steam on March 19 in collaboration with the London Games Festival.
There is no dialogue in
A Musical Story, so strictly the music and the visuals will tell the story, which is set in the 1970s and follows Gabriel, “a young man trying to come to terms with his situation through the connections to his musical memory.” The announcement trailer for the game spells out the influence of the 1970s clearly with its fashion, color choices, and even the styling of the logo text. The art in general is striking, coming from artist Alexandre Rey.
