St. Cloud State graduates
Two area students graduated from St. Cloud State University this spring. Destinee Tatro of Akeley earned a Master of Social Work degree and Greta Keranen of Menahga earned a Bachelor of Science degree in management.
Bagstad graduates
Isabel Bagstad graduated from Bethel University in St. Paul following the spring semester. Bagstad earned a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing. She is the daughter of Lance and Anita Bagstad of Park Rapids.

WORTHINGTON Ryan Kruger, a 19-year veteran of the Nobles County Sheriff’s Office, was sworn in Thursday morning as the county s new sheriff.
Kruger took his oath before a crowd of onlookers that included numerous members of the sheriff’s office and the Worthington Police Department, his family, and Kent Wilkening, who retired Wednesday after a 34-year career in law enforcement with Nobles County the last 22 years as its sheriff.
