An Alabama fire chief was arrested in Georgia after an altercation with an Atlanta Realtor and her photographer outside a Roswell home owned by the chief.
Tarrant Fire Chief Jason Rickels is charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, possession of a firearm during commission of a felony, and second-degree criminal damage to property. Police say Rickels pulled a gun on the pair and smashed the photographer’s camera.
Atlanta attorney Brian Steel, who is representing Rickels, called the charges against the fire chief outrageous, unfounded, and meritless.
