Four Fort Dodge and Des Moines residents appeared in Webster County Magistrate Court Tuesday on charges of participating in a riot that Fort Dodge Police say happened on Halloween.
Jacob Clayton, 24, of Fort Dodge; Josh Coleman, 30, of Fort Dodge; Alexander Pallos, 23, of Des Moines; and Mercedes Rom, 23, of Des Moines; are all charged with participating in a riot, an aggravated misdemeanor, and disorderly conduct fighting or violent behavior, a simple misdemeanor.
Fort Dodge police say the incident happened at Brass Monkey on North 10th Street. There, they say the four joined an assault on people inside the bar that left some property damage.
Harassment was reported in the 1400 block of Fifth Avenue North.
A car accident was reported in the 3500 block of Fifth Avenue South.
A hit and run was reported in the 400 block of North 13th Street.
Shots fired were reported in the 3100 block of Eighth Avenue South.
A car accident was reported at First Avenue North and North Third Street.
Shots fired were reported in the 700 block of South 32nd Street.
Criminal mischief was reported in the 1100 block of South 19th Street.
Fraud was reported in the 2300 block of Maple Drive.
A car accident was reported in the 200 block of Avenue O.
