Tesla Giga Berlin being investigated by state environmental agency for illegal refrigerant tank
Brandenburg’s Environmental groups have been in a fight for months now, up against Tesla Giga Berlin. This time two environmental groups complained about an illegal refrigerant being present in the factory. Green League and Nature Protection Association (NABU) are the two groups that filed the complaint. Tesla Berlin manufacturing plant is now under investigation by the state environmental agency.

Power provider LEAG is planning its first wind farm project on a reclaimed area of the Jänschwalde opencast mine in Germany near LHI Group s existing Forst-Briesnig I wind farm.
The project developer EP New Energies (EPNE) is currently preparing the Forst-Briesnig II wind farm for the Lausitz-based energy company.
EPNE, which develops renewable wind and solar energy projects for LEAG, plans to erect up to 17 wind turbines with a height of up to 250 metres.
Initial discussions have already taken place with representatives of the Peitz office, the city of Forst and the neighboring communities.
A corresponding application for a permit with an environmental impact study should be submitted to the State Office for the Environment (LfU) in the first half of 2021.
