Four Ohio University faculty members have been chosen as the 2021-2022 Mid-American Conference (MAC) Academic Leadership Development Program (ADLP) Fellows.
The chosen faculty members are: Mick Andzulis, associate professor and chair of the marketing department in the College of Business; Char Miller, associate professor of nursing in the College of Health Sciences and Professions; Dwan Robinson, associate professor and department chair of educational studies in the Patton College of Education; and Alycia Stigall, professor of geological sciences in the College of Arts and Sciences.
Jeremy Williams, an assistant professor of geology at Kent State University, discussed the Great Dying Event as a part of OU’s Geological Sciences Colloquium Series.
Dr. Dina López, professor emerita of geological sciences, retired in December 2020 after nearly 26 years of service at Ohio University. Her contributions to the university and global community are many.
“Dina is a wonderful, supportive and energetic colleague who has worked tirelessly to improve many facets of our institution, our region and global communities,” notes Dr. Alycia Stigall, chair of the Geological Sciences Department.

López is an internationally renowned researcher in environmental geochemistry and geochemistry of hydrothermal systems, and much of her research career has been spent focused on environmental issues (and related human health problems) in Latin America and Ohio.
