Court acquits MQM-P sector in-charge Court acquits MQM-P sector in-charge PHOTO: FILE A local court acquitted on Wednesday Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan’s (MQM-P’s) Lines Area sector in-charge Ali Hassan Zaidi in a case pertaining to attack on a local leader of the Awami National Party. An additional district and sessions judge was hearing the plea challenging the accusations against the MQM-P member at City Court Karachi. At the hearing, the prosecution failed to prove accusations against Zaidi. Hence, the court acquitted Zaidi on the basis a lack of evidence. The court also directed the police to release Zaidi immediately, provided that he was not accused in any other case.
