Head coach Carolyn Kieger added two new faces to the Penn State women’s basketball program this weekend when Ali Brigham and Paulina Paris both announced they’ll join the Nittany Lions.
Brigham will come to Happy Valley next fall after one year at George Washington. A native of Franklin, Massachusetts, the 6’4″ center averaged around 23 minutes per game this season. Brigham led the team with 11.9 points per game during its 9-14 season.

St. Bonaventure WBB splits weekend series on the road
By Michael Seitz, Contributing Writer The St. Bonaventure women’s basketball team split two contests on the road last weekend, beginning with a win at George Mason University on Friday by a score of 72-62. This was the team’s third straight victory and pushed their Atlantic 10 conference record to 4-8. Tori Harris led the Bonnies to victory leading the team in scoring, rebounding and minutes played. Harris tallied 16 points and 10 rebounds in 31 minutes. Three other players, Asainae Johnson, Deja Francis and Emily Calabrese also scored in double figures. St. Bonaventure shot 46.6% from the field and 40.0% from three-point range in the Friday win. George Mason guard Daijah Jefferson led all scorers with 25 points in the losing effort.
