The College of Lake County and the University Center of Lake County are exploring a plan to have CLC employees operate the University Center starting at the end of the 2022 fiscal year.
DePaul’s new partnership with the University Center of Lake County (UCLC) at the College of Lake County’s Grayslake Campus will allow students to begin their affordable educational journey with an associate degree from UCLC and finish up with a Bachelor of Arts degree in professional studies (BAPS) with a major in business administration from DePaul.

Walter Jarvis Ellis, 93, of Rehoboth Beach, formerly of Dover, passed away at home Thursday, Feb. 11, 2021.
Walter was born in Pennsylvania March 9, 1927, son of the late Joseph Ellis and Vera McClernan Ellis. He was raised in Wilmington and graduated from Conrad High School where he was an accomplished basketball player and captain of the team.
Following high school, he enlisted in the Navy where he served in the Pacific Theater. After his service, he was appointed to West Point, but chose to attend the University of Delaware where Walter was a member of the Theta Chi Fraternity and made many lifelong friends.
