Hassan Bin Ali Al-Ansari, a Qatari expert on French affairs, was interviewed by Qatari sociologist Dr. Abd Al-Aziz Al-Khazraj Al-Ansari in videos that were uploaded to the Qatar-based YouTube channel, Al-Mujtama Online TV. In a video that was uploaded on December 9, 2020, Hassan Al-Ansari said that he does not rule out the possibility that the French police or intelligence services were involved in the recent beheading of French schoolteacher Samuel Paty. In addition, he said that most of the Muslims who have carried out attacks in France had been born and raised in France, and he argued that this is evidence that something is wrong with France as a country, rather than with Islam.
