(ABC 6 News) - A Hayfield teen died after a crash with a semi Wednesday morning.
Dodge County Sheriff s Office reports that at approximately 8:03 a.m. Wednesday, 16-year-old Macy Holtan s car slid on the ice into the wrong lane and crashed into an oncoming semi. The crash happened near the intersection of 220th Ave and Dodge/Mower Road in the curve.
Holtan was driving a 2010 Honda Accord and was the sole passenger of the car. She was transported by Mayo One to Saint Marys in Rochester and died from her injuries.

A 16-year-old Hayfield teen died in a crash Wednesday, Jan. 20, in rural Dodge County.
The Dodge County Sheriff s Office was dispatched about 8 a.m. Wednesday to a an accident involving a tractor-trailer truck and passenger car near the intersection of 220th Avenue and Dodge/Mower Road, according to a news release from Dodge County Sheriff Scott Rose.
While on scene, the deputies reported that the passenger car, a 2010 Honda Accord, slid on ice around a curve and into the oncoming lane of traffic. The car was then hit by the truck.
