Watch the candidates for Lake Zurich village president take part in a joint interview with a representative of the Daily Herald Editorial Board.
The 49-minute exchange between incumbent Village President Tom Poynton and former village Trustee Jeffrey Halen was recorded Feb. 25 on Zoom. The candidates discussed issues ranging from downtown development to village s handling of the COVID-19 crisis, and each gave their ideas for making the community better.
The election takes place on April 6. Mail-in and early in-person voting begins in Lake County on March 12. related
