A newly formed political outfit in Tamil Nadu has launched a quirky style of campaigning using a humanoid robot.

Nearly four-foot tall, the interactive robot classified as a humanoid boasts of social interaction, facial recognition and human-like gestures and can even initiate conversations with people. Developed by Chennai-based Doozy Robotics, a touchscreen on its chest displays messages and supports speech.
