Members of Ventnor Coastguard Rescue Team also attended the incident to provide a cordon and scene safety, after being paged at 3.28pm. The item was retrieved and disposed of safely. CALLOUT 19.02.21 15:28 24/2021 Paged to a report of Ordnance on the beach at Shanklin. Pictures sent to Naval Bomb Disposal. Cordon put in place. Further inspection resulted in safe disposal by EOD
