If you’re using heat styling tools on your hair, you’re legally obliged (or at least we think you should be) to use heat protection products like sprays, serums or oils to preserve your locks.
Often when we blow dry, straighten or curl our hair, the damage that heat inflicts is an afterthought, and by then the damage is done. Any heat applied to the hair that’s above 200 degrees will do damage to your hair. Even the most healthy, fortified strands are susceptible to dryness, weakening, and heat damage especially if you’re a frequent styler.

Sarah McCrimmon is a 41-year-old registered nurse with hair that needed intensive care. It had been almost a year since she last had it done and wanted a new look as she was about to elope.
Sara has medium density and long hair. It was previously coloured and feeling unmanageable, dry and shapeless. To refresh her colour, I placed foil highlights around her face and strategically throughout her hair to create natural dimension. I then deepened her background foundation colour with rich cool-chocolate brown permanent colour and refined her overall colour with a demi-permanent shade in a golden-beige tone.

Salima Vasanji is a 51-year-old paralegal and wanted to celebrate her accomplishments in life and raise the bar higher for herself in 2021.
Salima has medium length, thick density hair. It was looking a little drab and she wanted to refresh her look to help her feel rejuvenated. To complement Salima’s beautifully warm complexion, I strategically placed subtle caramel ribbons of low-lites round the face and throughout her hair. I used a colour formula designed specifically for brunettes, which lifts to the target colour
