Alicia Andrews, chair of the Oklahoma Democratic Party, said Johnson has “a big grassroots effort” that shows Democratic eagerness to defeat Stitt next year. She said she expected at least one other Democratic candidate to enter the race and that a serious contender would likely need to raise $10 million.
