Today the laser is an essential technology of the 21st century and a multibillion-dollar industry which impacts almost every aspect of our daily life. Speaking to Deccan Chronicle over phone, DRDO Advanced Systems Laboratory (ASL) director M. Rama Manohar Babu disclosed that bio-compostable products, which are made from 100 percent plant-based food-grade materials, will soon be launched in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
