No shortage of oxygen in Telangana: Eatala Rajender
By News Desk| Updated: 27th April 2021 8:05 pm IST Telangana health minister Etala Rajender
Hyderabad: Telangana health minister Eatala Rajender today said that there is no shortage of oxygen to treat coronavirus (COVID-19) cases in the state. The government is acquiring more oxygen stocks than required per day day he claimed.
‘We require 270 tons oxygen a day and we get 400 tons of oxygen to cater to growing demands. We made necessary arrangements for that purpose from other states. People should not visit private hospitals to be looted and ensure they get free treatment in hospitals. Charges that are fixed by the government are to be strictly followed by private hospitals, else the government will take serious action against them,” Rajender warned while addressing a press conference.
