Google s developer conference, Google I/O, will start next week. It is likely that fans will see some major product announcements, including more details on Android 12 and Pixel hardware.
The internet giant did not have a conference last year because of the pandemic, so there is a lot to catch up on.

Google I/O will be held virtually this year and will be free for everyone to attend. It will start on May 18 and end on May 20. The opening keynote starts at 10am PT or 1pm ET on May 18.

Google s former AI scientist Samy Bengio finds a new job at Apple after leaving the search engine giant over ethics concern.
Bengio, who is expected to lead a new AI research team for Apple, ended his 14-year tenure after Google made a controversial decision to remove two women researchers under his ranks.

The coronavirus pandemic has forced people to order takeout from their favorite restaurants. This is much safer since the pandemic has prevented people from dining-in.
Google is now trying to make the process faster by having Google Assistant fill in contact information and payment details automatically on Android phones after you find a restaurant through Google Search.

In order to use the new feature, you will have to search for whatever restaurant you like to order from in the Google app, then select the Order Online button on the restaurant s information card, as per Engadget.
