8 FORT EUSTIS, Va. – U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command honored two of their own this Memorial Day during a memorialization ceremony for Gen. John W. Foss and Gen. William W. Hartzog to honor their leadership and legacy on May 27, 2021. The ceremony was part of the larger Fort Eustis hosted “Remember the Fallen” event.
The TRADOC leadership conference rooms were re-named in dedication of the commanders. The Executive Conference Room is now the Gen. Foss Conference Room, and the Command Conference Room is now the Gen. Hartzog Conference Room.
During the ceremony, Funk gave honors to the Foss and Hartzog families, as well as the nation’s fallen military men and women.
