The city of Stafford will host a community drive-through food distribution, as well as a COVID-19 and HIV testing site, at the Stafford Centre at 10505 Cash Rd. from 9 a.m. until supplies are gone.
A news release from the city said community members should arrive with their trunks cleared out to receive the food, which volunteers will place in the car while drivers stay inside.
Those who want an HIV or COVID-19 test will then be directed to an onsite location for testing during the event, which is a partnership between the city, Tax Assessor Collector Carmen Turner, the American Caribbean Chamber of Commerce and the Houston Food Bank.
