As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to wane throughout Amarillo and the Texas Panhandle, officials with the Amarillo Chamber of Commerce are making an intentional effort to help small businesses rebound and become more successful for the overall economy through a small business initiative.
The Chamber of Commerce announced a Supporting Small Business initiative with Amarillo Mayor Ginger Nelson during a news conference Tuesday.
The chamber is working with partners throughout the community, including the city, the Amarillo Economic Development Corporation as well as entities like Xcel Energy and Amarillo National Bank, to help give small businesses the ability to access education and various events at little to no charge, during this rebuilding period.
