Former FDA director Dr Scott Gottlieb said he believes the country s current strategy for administering coronavirus vaccines is not working and urging public health officials to hit the reset button
Gottlieb says that in order for Americans to receive the jab faster all the doses of the vaccine should be released at the same time and not held back for people to receive a second dose weeks later
And in that new state, there’s a lot to miss.
For this writer, it’s feeling comfortable in an elevator of a downtown building, walking down Main Street to the Joule, getting an Americano from Weekend and sitting down in the beautiful lobby area to work and people-watch. That Americano can still happen, but watching interesting fashion choices isn’t worth the risk involved with loitering these days.

A virtual friendship group which has helped to ease the loneliness of many people during lockdown is hoping to attract funding.
The Friendship Circle South Lincolnshire has attracted 550 members since it was launched by Andrea Briggs earlier this year.
Mrs Briggs is looking ahead to the spring when she is hoping to organise a number of events but needs funding to help make this possible.
Amanda Scott is the Singing Gardener.
She said: âIt is quite a satisfying feeling to know that we are bringing people together.
âI have seen some lovely friendships develop and there are people that I now know that I would never have known otherwise.
