Virtual friendship group seeking funding Published: 12:00, 19 December 2020
A virtual friendship group which has helped to ease the loneliness of many people during lockdown is hoping to attract funding.
The Friendship Circle South Lincolnshire has attracted 550 members since it was launched by Andrea Briggs earlier this year.
Mrs Briggs is looking ahead to the spring when she is hoping to organise a number of events but needs funding to help make this possible.
Amanda Scott is the Singing Gardener.
She said: âIt is quite a satisfying feeling to know that we are bringing people together.
âI have seen some lovely friendships develop and there are people that I now know that I would never have known otherwise.
