It’s time to head back to the Tower as Destiny 2’s Season of the Splicer has begun where Guardians will be teaming up with Mithrax, Kell of the House of Light, who will be guiding them through a new six player activity called Override and there will also be a new weekly Pinnacle mission called Expunge.

Destiny 2 s latest season will address longstanding feedback on certain items and will make some backend changes to the game when its next update arrives.
Every new season of Destiny 2 brings with it a fresh patch to prepare Bungie s sandbox for several months of activity, and Season of the Splicer won t be any different. Launching next week on May 11, Update 3.2.0 will address longstanding feedback on certain items and will make some backend changes to the game.
One of the more interesting additions is an increase in accessibility, as colorblind support is being expanded to include the new Stasis abilities that were introduced in last year s Beyond Light expansion. Player highlighting in the Crucible now has colorblind support as well, and other elements related to the new Guardian powers should be more visually distinct when this mode is activated.

Bungie has announced that the studio is making baby Fallen plushies in the future in collaboration with Numskull Designs, and it teased the design of the plush.

Following the craze that saw Destiny 2: Season of the Splicer s baby Fallen break the internet, Destiny 2 developer Bungie has revealed that it s making baby Fallen plushies in collaboration with Numskull Designs for fans to enjoy. The studio also teased the design of the plush, which features adorable blue eyes and a lovable little smile. It will be approximately 10 inches in size.

There will be plenty of new activities and loot for players to engage with in Destiny 2 s Season of the Splicer, but the thing that has players more hyped than anything else for the new season is the possibility that they ll get to see baby Eliksni (more commonly referred to as Fallen) in-game. In the official trailer for Season of the Splicer, a Fallen from the House of Light (a group of Fallen allied with the Guardians) is shown carrying three baby Fallen, all of which are striking adorable poses with their stubby, short arms and tiny mandibles. This immediately overwhelmed many fans with a cuteness overload, prompting them to take to social media to gush about the precious little beans.
With the Season of the Splicer on the way in Destiny 2, Bungie has released the season roadmap, letting us know exactly when we will be getting each new activity. This is good news for Guardians that like to plan ahead.
