Doha: Second Vice-President of Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC) and President of the Qatar Athletics Federation (QAF) Dr. Thani bin Abdulrahman Al Kuwari expressed his delight with the great success of the Doha round of the Diamond League, which took place at Suhaim Bin Hamad stadium with a record number of Olympic and World champions participating.
He said that the Doha edition was a success in terms of the organization or the level of participation and competition.

Doha: Dr. Thani bin Abdulrahman Al Kuwari, Second Vice President of the Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC) and President of the Qatar Athletics Federation (QFA), yesterday said the Local Organizing Committee (LOC) is ready to host the Doha round of the 2021 Diamond League.
The Second Round of the 2021 season will be held tomorrow at the track and field venue of the Suheim Bin Hamad Stadium.
Dr Al Kuwari said that the Doha Round will witness participation of world champions and Olympic Games stars besides athletes who sparkled at the 2019 World Athletics Championships that were held in Doha 2019.

Doha: Aspetar and the Qatar Athletics Federation have signed a cooperation agreement. Qatari athletes will benefit from Aspetar’s outstanding medical services, the latest scientific research, and sports science using Aspire Zone facilities.
The agreement was signed at Aspetar by the Director-General of Aspetar, and CEO of Aspire Zone Foundation Mohammed Khalifa Al Suwaidi, and President of Qatar Athletics Federation Dr. Thani Abdulrahman Al Kuwari. The signing ceremony was attended by senior officials of the Qatar Athletics Federation, Aspetar officials, and several Qatari athletics stars led by Samba, Abubakar Haidar, and Ashraf Al Saifi.
