The initiative is being carried out in the State under Jagananna Saswatha Bhoomi Hakku-Bhoomi Raksha Survey programme In a review meeting held in Amaravati today, the Chief Minister said the work under Jagananna Saswatha Bhoomi Hakku-Bhoomi Raksha Survey programme was progressing at a slow pace due to prevailing Covid-19 situation and instructed the officials to expedite the works and complete them in the stipulated time.

Jagan Mohan Reddy on Monday launched a Temple Management System, which provides a series of services, including e-hundi facility for the benefit of devotees. The CM said the system will be effective for all temples in Andhra Pradesh under the purview of the Endowments Department in the state. The system would provide information about temples, a series of online services for devotees, maintenance of assets, calendar, the conduct of rituals, income and expenditure, details of staff and a dashboard.

Mar 09, 2021, 13:08 IST AMARAVATI: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy  again wrote to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to consider revival options of Vizag Steel Plant (Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited), rather than proposed divestment. In  the second letter the Chief Minister said, I had clearly mentioned the problems being faced by Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited (RINL), Visakhapatnam, suggested various solutions to revive the same and requested to reconsider the decision of 100% strategic disinvestment. I had also addressed the union Minister for steel offering my suggestions to revive RINL and make it financially strong. Following are the excerpts from the letter:

AP CM For Best Sanitation Practices In Jagananna Colonies Feb 19, 2021, 10:03 IST AP CM reviews housing and best sanitation practices to be implemented for the welfare of the people. Amaravati: Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy held a review meeting on the construction of houses and infrastructure facilities to be provided in YSR Jagananna colonies and suggested changes in the proposals laid for providing infrastructure facilities. During the review meeting held at the camp office here on Thursday, The Chief Minister instructed the officials to prepare an action plan for the timely release of funds for the construction of houses at a brisk pace. The officials said over 15 lakh houses will be constructed in the first phase and 83 percent of the beneficiaries have so far opted from the three given options.
