Open to children ages 4 to 12, LC Nature Park s Camp Trillium will feature activities involving the 200-acre property s elk and bison herds as well as its flora and fauna, said George Manning, park director. “We want to have them out there and to be able to see and experience the natural environment of Indiana,” Manning said. For example, he said, that could include experiencing the preserve s tallgrass prairie. The park along Aboite Road also boasts a forested sand dune that is partly carpeted with the flower the camp is named after, Manning said.
