Eld-el-Fitr: Abia Speaker, Orji urges Muslims to pray for Nigeria

The Speaker of Abia State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Chinedum Orji has urged the Muslim Ummah in Abia to continue to exhibit the love, good neighbourliness, compassion and such virtues that advance the cause of humanity as commanded by Prophet Muhammad.
In a message felicitating with the Muslims on the celebration of Eid-el-Fitr the Abia Speaker also urged the faithful to remember the poor and the needy in the society and use the occasion to continue to pray for the success of the Abia State Government.
Orji further admonished them to pray for wisdom for leaders of the State and for peace, security and prosperity for the people of Abia.

The Speaker of Abia State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon Chinedum Enyinnaya Orji has described the death of Rear Admiral Ndubuisi Kanu (Rtd) as “a huge loss to Abia State in particular and Nigeria in general”, Igbere TV reports.
The Abia Speaker lamented that Admiral Kanu departed at a time his wealth of experience and counsel as an accomplished soldier and a seasoned administrator were needed most in both Abia State and Nigeria.
He prayed God to grant his gentle soul eternal rest and avail the family he left behind and all Nigerians, the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
