BHUBANESWAR: At 11.30am on Sunday, an incident of fire was reported in Route Relay Interlocking (RRI) building of Cuttack railway station. Officials of RPF post, Cuttack, immediately reached the spot with available fire buckets and fire extinguishers to douse the fire.
The RPF team immediately informed to the fire brigade, ambulance services, government railway police (GRP) and station manager, Cuttack about the incident. Around 10 railway employees working inside the RRI building were confined and isolated. RPF personnel cordoned the area with rope and barricade till arrival of the fire brigade.
